This year... well this year I was in grade 7 and well... it was really fun because I made some new friends and I liked the teacher that I got. One of the most exiting things that happened was the Panoka track meet because I won the male athlete of grade 7. The events I did at the track meet were 100m (2nd place),
200m (3rd place), 400m (2nd place), long jump (1st place), shot-put (1st place), and relay with my friends Reece, Luke, and Neil and we got 3rd place for that.
One of the things I didn't like was one of my teachers kicked me and my friend Jaxon because we took to long to finish a question that she gave us. Both me and my friend Jaxon got kicked out a lot and she usually cried or apologized to us. Another thing I did not like was one of my classes because I didn't get along with the teacher very well and I didn't think she was very fair. Some of the things I was thankful for was that some of my friends were in my class and Jaxon was in my class and he is moving to B.C. next year and he is one of my best friends.
Some of the things I enjoyed learning this year was the history of Canada and some other math stuff that I did not know before. Another thing I enjoyed this year was the school sports. The sports teams I played on was the basketball team, volleyball team, hockey team, badminton team and track team. This year for volleyball our team won the Hunting Hills volleyball tournament and we got 2nd place in some of the other tournaments. In hockey our team got 4th place in the tournemant but we beat the top team in the league. For basketball this year we didn't do very good but I still had lot's of fun and for badminton I played doubles.
Some of the things I am looking forward to in the summer are going to my grandparents house, going to NBC (basketball camp) in Olds with my friend chris, and i'm going out to Sylven Lake to help my uncle with some landskaping.
Some of my of my goals for next year are to make some of the school sports teams and get better grades at school. I am exited for next year because I like the teachers that are teaching and I finily get options and don't have to take band/music.
